Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan visits The Dawn Quranic Institute

As a part of his tour in Australia, Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan from Kuwait will visit The Dawn Quranic Institute on Saturday 12 June 2010 at 7:30 pm in Punchbowl Musalla. Doctor Tareq will attend as a guest speaker for the Graduation Ceremony 2010 that will be held on date/time/place mentioned. The garduation ceremony is organised by the Institute once a year to graduate and appreciate those students who successfully passed the introductory (Tamhidia), Advanced (Mutaqadima) and Ijaza (Certificataion) stages.

Doctor Tareq is well known by his activities in Dawa and management training through his lectures, publications and TV programs.  He is the General Manager of Al-Risalah Satellite TV Station and founder and executive manager of over 80 organisations. Doctor Tareq is a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Tusla University in USA.

Graduation Ceremony 2009

The Dawn Quranic Institute has organised the Graduartion Ceremony for this year 2009. That was on Saturday 24 October 2009 at Punchbowl Musalla. Shiekh Abubaker Al-Shatiri from Saudi Arabia was the guest speaker of the cermony. He gave a speach, Quran recitation with his nice voice and contributed in handling certifiactes and gifts to graduated students.

The number of graduates was 27 students as follwoing:

- 21 students who successfully passed Introductory (Tamhidia) satage.

- 5 students who successfully passed Advanced (Mutaqadima) satage.

- 1 student who granted Ijaza in certification, brother Hassan El-Sotohi .

In his speech, Shiekh Abubakir Al-Shatiri mentioned and emphasised the importance of Quran and how to care about it learn it.  Also the speech of Abdussalam Ali, the manager of the The Dawn Quranic Institute, who gave an idea about the institute and its acheivments since established at March 2008.
